omg
i know im piled with like loads of work
loads of assignment and
little time to complete
oh well
firstly
we have this A1 paper to draw on
and to be filled up with drawings plus
we need to do on 2 A1 sized sheets
imagine that!!!
the theme was to just draw
no thought
no preconception no whatsoever
and the brilliant thing was
we had 3 presentations scheduled soon!!!
it was a busy busy week
oh yea
and
on wednesday
we went to laselle
the design school
to view at the graduates gallery
it was an impacting experience
because
the interior is soo unique
that it gives you a complete different feel
and concept of what an institute is to look like
when there's design and art hand in hand
it completely diminishes the idea of the norm
and start to question
and that is where ideas are born
art
teaches one to view things from different perspectives
to open our minds
to communicate with
it breaks the norm
it bends the rules and restriction
it is for us designers to perceive things in a different manner
to appreciate what others won't
art can tell many stories
just the way you interpret it
that's all
anyways
just that this week is really busy
no time for anything but concentrating
and i kinda enjoy it lol
keeps me occupied
i mean
i rather be occupied
then left with nothing to do
and realize that boredom is eating it's way through
so im kinda like used to it i guess
since i face stress most of the time
although i don't understand
why im so comfortable in it
as in not bothered by it
but who gives a damn anyway
what's more important is
that
my assignments
are completed
but it was tiring
to do the drawings
because it takes time
to perfect your drawing
to turn it into something beautiful without intention
and we have like sleepless nights
expected
to complete an A1 size drawing
it took me like 20 hours
i had to stick my head close to the paper
and draw
i got dizzy like several times
and
puked on my first try
trying to push myself to the limits
no sleeping at all
designing is tough
but we need to suffer for it
to train
even if we had nothing at all
it is a great experience to be in a design school
exposed a complete different view of life to me
in a way
im more optimistic
and i became more hardworking
compared to doing the academics and stuff
because i couldnt find any opportunity to slack
but at the end of the day
i rather enjoyed my creation
from my own two little hands
not to brag or anything
i completely enjoyed myself
even though at times i question myself
why am i in a course to suffer?
was it worth it?
what benefited?
initially i had my doubts
but now im clear
yes it was worth it
the experience
the opening a part of you that never existed
the thirst for more
it's like creativity never ceases to fascinate me
in a degree
it's like
something that is limitless
worth to explore
expand
maximize your potential
i feel it
it's what's making me want more
yearn for more
it's like psychology
the curiosity to learn more
is killing me
it's like some insatiable hunger is in there
something inspirational
and sensational
all to do with the feel hahah

It's amazing how i managed to survived last night...
What i did last night?
ok well let me enlighten you
about my journey
to travel the whole of Singapore on bike
through the night of course
if it were to take place under the hot sun
i'd faint any minute
ok so firstly
i haven't been cycling for 4 years now
i kept having the impression that i couldn't cycle
i would slow the team down
and stuff you know
im not suprised that it'll be excruciatingly tiring
because i done a 4 hour cycle in pulau ubin before
and i know pretty much how it felt like
to cycle long distances in hours
the slopes uphill and downhill
so basically it had it's pros and cons
i was uncertain and all
cause i knew i'd lag the team down
because of my incompetence
not that i can do anything about it
so i was awfully discouraged upon hearing that it was an all guys outing
or a class outing
evidently i wasn't in their class
but i was no outcast either
cause im really close to these people
