the deadline is like on monday

so basically it started off with a really off assignment
go to botanical garden and take photos of your respective trees

my tree was the australian flame tree
yea such a cool tree right?
you just wait what happened next
so i was there with my gfs
then i realized it was the first time i've ever been to the damn garden
we headed there straight away after school
and it was getting really hot
and we were to look for our trees or plants or shrub in there
you'd be thinking
how the fuck are you supposed to find a tree in a million trees???
its like a needle in the hay stack
so i got pretty distracted
cause it was all so pretty
and it was hot
the lotus was damn pretty i swear if you could be there
im just giving you the still image of its beauty
you need to be there
so it was hot and we all had our sunglasses on
then we saw the swan lake
liek omg i never seen a swan up close and personal
!!!
and i realized that they were there so you could feed them and they will come to you
i swear those greedy birds
i thought it was so graceful till they opened their mouth
sounds like a ducks but worse
yea then they did the heart shaped thing
but i couldnt capture the moment
i was soo angry
plus i wanted their feather

another bird gave it to me so i didnt have the trouble to pluck it myself
so we were walking and walking looking around for the bloody tree
so i thought to myself
its gonna be easy
since my tree is red itll stand out from the rest
our first destination was to the main branch where we could get a map and asked them for directions to where the tree is

do not listen to the shitty receptionist
he gave me the wrong directions
a bitch
did i find it?

the 4th time i went there i found it
i was soo pissed
cause he sent me to the other end of the garden
to search for it
when it was not there
it was near the swan lake
bloody bitch
i had a hard time looking out for it seriously
cause it was not red
it looks liek any other tree
omg i hated him
how did i find it
well there was a singaporean who posted and
she took a photo of it with the background
so i realize
hmmm
that tree behind was familiar
so i found out where it was
next to hazimah's cactus=/
this was at the very end
of the garden
wth right
i love this pavilion though lmao
so basically my tree had fruits liek these
ok so i found my tree
had my photos
now we were to do 10 diagrams
of it according to our artist
i chose dave mckean
the collage guy hahahha
what he does is he merges photos together to make it surreal
i mean it took like skill
and photoshop

we were to make 10 cardboard models
i repeat corrugated cardboard models
with a constriction of 10 by 10 base

so like you'd think what bloody model could you make outta cardboard???
you don't often see many nice cardboard furniture or anything
it wasnt really inspiring
rather depressing actually
this was my first try
yea terrible outcome
so i decided to cut the cardboard into strips
see what i can do with them
basically its to play and experiment
there so it wasnt easy to cut them all
i had to seek help from my lover to help me come out with good ideas
then i made this
that was my structure till my lecturer merge it together with my growth
i had to make another structure

this coloured one was done with the help of my bf
gosh i dont know what i'd do without him
yep i spent all night doing all these models
we had exactly 10 days to do 10 freaking models
i was drained dry
i wasnt eating right and such
yep so here i am taking a short break from work
that's why i couldn't go out or anything

my inspiration was frank gehry
he did this chair
